Himalayan Travel Mart 2017
1ˢᵗ to 4ᵗʰ June

The Himalayan Travel Mart 2017 sets out with the aim to re-define Adventure Tourism and establish Nepal as a Gateway to the Himalayas. The event is scheduled from June 1-4, 2017, at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu.

The mart is a Business to Business (B to B) event and shall be attended by Buyers (interested in Nepal and the Himalaya Region) from Europe, North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and CIS, Asia and Gulf. Sellers are expected from Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Pakistan, Indo China, Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and Central Asia.

The event will comprise a one-day conference on June 2, 2017, on key topics related to Hospitality and Tourism, Aviation and Management, with international speakers from around the world.

Prior to HTM, PATA Nepal Chapter is organizing the International Bloggers and Media Conference from May 22- June 1, 2017, to showcase the beauty of Nepal to international travel bloggers and media persons. Delegates of the IBMC will be a part of the Mt. Everest Day Celebration at International Mountain Museum on May 29 in Pokhara.

The event is coordinated by PATA Nepal Chapter in partnership with Nepal Tourism Board, PATA International, and travel industry of Nepal and pertinent stakeholders.

The main organizing committee of HTM 2017 will be chaired by the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Nepal Tourism Board and industry stakeholders from different associations will be engaged as office bearers and members of the main organizing committee. PATA Nepal Chapter is the Secretariat with its representative as the Secretary General of the main committee.
